Personal Information We May Collect
Healing in Motion may collect personal information that individuals choose to provide when interacting with the organisation.
This may include your name, email address, telephone number (where provided), organisation name (where applicable), message content, and information submitted in relation to appointments, research, feedback, operational enquiries or participation in the Lived Experience pathway.
Only information relevant to the purpose of the interaction is collected.
Legal Basis for Processing
Personal information is processed in accordance with UK data protection law.
The lawful basis for each processing activity is set out within Healing in Motion's Information Governance documentation and is currently subject to legal review prior to formal issue of the organisation's Information Governance Suite.
Depending on the nature of the interaction, Healing in Motion processes personal information only where a lawful basis exists under UK data protection legislation.
Processing may include responding to enquiries, arranging appointments or meetings, providing requested information or resources, administering research, feedback and operational engagement, supporting individuals through authorised administrative processes, and maintaining appropriate organisational records.
Research and Lived Experience
Where individuals voluntarily contribute lived experience, feedback or research information, Healing in Motion explains how that information will be used before it is collected.
Where appropriate, explicit consent will be obtained, identifying information will be removed before material is used anonymously, participation is entirely voluntary, and individuals may withdraw their consent at any time where applicable.
Data Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, maintain appropriate organisational records, and meet any legal or regulatory obligations.
Retention periods are defined within Healing in Motion's Information Governance framework.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law, individuals have the right to request access to their personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion where applicable, request restriction of processing where appropriate, object to processing where legally applicable, and withdraw consent where processing is based upon consent.

Healing in Motion aims to respond to requests within the timescales required by UK data protection legislation.
Data Sharing
Healing in Motion does not sell personal information.
Personal information is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Information is shared only where the individual has given permission, where sharing is necessary to deliver a requested service, or where there is a legal obligation to do so.
Where external service providers process information on Healing in Motion's behalf, they do so only where necessary to deliver the requested service and under appropriate contractual arrangements.
Data Protection
Healing in Motion is committed to handling personal information lawfully, fairly and proportionately.
The organisation maintains an Information Governance framework comprising policies, procedures and operational controls designed to support responsible information management across all organisational activities.
The framework is reviewed regularly as the organisation develops and in response to changes in legal or operational requirements.
Healing in Motion will complete its registration with the Information Commissioner's Office before the public Lived Experience pathway becomes operational.
